The project is located at Multan Road, about 50 kilometers from Lahore in Chunian zone. This is the major textile centre in the Punjab having all infrastructure necessary for the successful running of industry. It has easy access to the top quality cotton growing areas, the markets for yarn and fabric, air and sea ports. The Islamabad Motorway entrance is only 35 kilometers from the project.

The company’s head office is located in Lahore, the capital of the province of Punjab. Lahore is an ancient and historic city with beautiful gardens and monuments. It has an international airport connected to all major cities of the world. The company has also liaison arrangements in Karachi and Islamabad.

Mian textile industries limited was incorporated in 1986 with its weaving operations commencing in 1989 with 63 Sulzer Ruti and picanol shuttleless looms and complete back process including inspection, folding and packing machines. To this, another 41 Sulzer Ruti weaving machines were added 1991 to maximize production.

The weaving operations went on smoothly, but to this the spinning unit was added in order to maintain consistent quality and introduce new qualities requiring specialized yarn.

The spinning unit started operating in 1992 with 14,400 Toyota spindles and with the best possible back process and finishing machinery. Later in 1994, 960 spindles, 4 cards and 6 sets of Rieter combers with one lap former were added.

The company produces top quality yarn and grey fabric. These products are considered to be of top quality in domestic and international markets. The grey fabric is being exported to USA, Europe, Turkey and the far east.

The company is managed professionally headed the chief Executive who is responsible to the board of directors. All the main departments are headed by suitably qualified professionals having long experience in their respective fields of responsibility.
